History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Serpent was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Serpent never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Pijjirik speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Eberdeb hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to be a shepherd again
