History: Silent lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Silent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Shivering was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. Her silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Smoking was taken on many hunting expeditions. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.
