History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jade grew up listening to her mother's many stories. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Williamina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
