History: River hails from a village terrorized by goblins. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He wears yellow leather gloves, a yellow jacket, and tight pants, and carries halberds. He wears his red hair down. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Laucian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: An older woman who wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body, she is not a threatening figure. Her copper crest is singed and shortened. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Aasathra does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aasathra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His red fur is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Tree will drive conversation. Tree is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Tree lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Blendaeth hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Laborer and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
