History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Blacksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people.

History: Arha was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Murgen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bellfounder and was forced into it by her family; and wishes to resurrect an old love
