History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriax grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in the west to a Miller, Malquis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has worked as a Map Maker like her mother before her.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears just a white suit. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Art grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Art. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption
