History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Helen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Helen. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Katherine hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Katherine never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Thiala was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Goroth was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Goroth abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
