Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Forcas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Forcas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Erky was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Armorer. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Shax alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
