Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Kasdeya learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she has money and likes to spend it
