Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he very much looks the part of a Marshal. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 64. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Server, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Gardener, and she later adopted a second son.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: She hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

She has dyed her greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.
