History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Art was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born in the east. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Claira alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
