Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sarai lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
