History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Fisher soon after.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is greedy

His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the south to a Gardener, Koeth learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He became a Gardener soon after.

History: Farideh was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
