History: Gifted from a young age, Sarai studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Sarai's homeland. Sarai decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Tricking lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Howard was born with his father's beautiful face. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Antinua alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Adrik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is greedy; and doesn't want to be a ploughman and was forced into it by her family
