Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a white coat. His hair is always cut to a buzz. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Darrow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to reunite with his old friends

Mantus Obscure, Male Tiefling [Permalink]

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a dull look in his black eyes.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mantus grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mantus. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Seven was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by her family; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull white iron scale mail. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed blue hat.
Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Zanna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To end her boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He uses divination through singing.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Vrondiss alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Snagog was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: She wears a white wide-brimmed hat and white clothes, and she perpetually has her glaive ready. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paela fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
