She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Valorean was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Valorean's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Nadarr was born with his father's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Nadarr took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
