History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her first spouse was a Mason, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She bought a scimitar and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
