Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Zepar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Zepar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a Doctor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with black slacks, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is still thick. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His first spouse was a Sculptor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she has a crush on the local gardener

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
