History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Conrad's homeland. Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ella was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local bather

History: Raam was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
