History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Huru was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Huru's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Huru fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: 4'7" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His tied-back hair is red. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A 6'3" southern man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His crest is rusty, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gold.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Tarhun was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Tarhun was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tarhun decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bathin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a great chef.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 2'10" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She keeps her white hair in a flapper bob. This brown eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a white vest and prefers green and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. He has shaved his head bald. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and his spouse have recently divorced.
