Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears his silver hair up. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Jocelyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for her, and Birel does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born in a small plains village. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. History: He got into the Bowyer business at a young age. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Description: This man wears dark leathers with embroidery. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His black hair is lengthy. He has brown eyes.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. Aramil enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aramil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aramil. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Left-Handed alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
