Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ratak will drive conversation. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Interpreter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and retire the richest woman in the north

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Perra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Greeba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
