Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
