History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balimaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balimaar. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Adran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
