History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the south to a Bather, Ribbles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She got into the Navigator business at a young age. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She tends to her Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
