Description: She is a mite stocky and wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a greataxe on her belt. She wears her purple hair up. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Pyra was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Pyra decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, marred by teas. His hair is chestnut and curly. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Caeldrim isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. Caeldrim enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Marbas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Naeris lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a red armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his glaive, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sailor born in the past three hundred years. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Assassin, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Expand his business; and he is greedy

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Faran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her dark red hair is braided into rings. Her white unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: Born to a Dyer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vepar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Vepar and her spouse have recently divorced.
