Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a green coat, and she perpetually has her morningstar ready. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Makaria is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Born in the south to a Miller, Makaria learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Makaria grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Makaria. She tends to her Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. A true patriot, Tatyan would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Erky enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Erky was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She wears a yellow cloak and cross-gartered white stockings, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'0" when asserting herself. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Assassin kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable
