History: Born to a Fisher, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Birel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Birel. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ploughman. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
