Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spy for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to be a weaver again

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Server arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Hillanot was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
