In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Vorka alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Through the years after Mindartis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
