History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. During his travels, Oskar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Oskar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Oskar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Lucan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
