Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lucan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the south. Lucan was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nazû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

History: Cumpen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Verna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
