History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Orryn embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Orryn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Baelitae hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and revenge

History: She was born in the north. Portia was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Shautha was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Guard for the past few years.
