History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Barakas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

History: Diggory was born the youngest of three triplets. Diggory was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Diggory decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Wiggan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Wiggan has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
