History: Tree was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tree fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and seeks redemption

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his music dream.
