History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hoshû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in a small plains village. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
