History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently the stress of being a Jeweler has made it difficult for him to sleep.
