History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shava was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shava alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Callie lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She struck the Doctor job and began her own company from there.

History: He was born in the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
