History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Tailor. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uthemar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'11". He has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: Chay hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chay does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Chay was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat, and is pretty ugly. His hair is cut close to his head. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dayereth was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Balam was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Carter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears professional attire. Her white hair is lengthy. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ridaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
