Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an entirely black suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length black crest. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. Her beige fur is knotted and matted. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Dagger is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She got into the Server business at a young age. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Dagger and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and seeks redemption

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears a colorful flower in his red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Rolen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Rolen was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Zâthra was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
