She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she has a crush on the local barber

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by her family

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her fur is brown and curly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
