History: Nykkan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He became a Barrister soon after.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Meriele was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
