She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Felosial decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. After months of barely getting by, Felosial managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
