History: Malquis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Malquis was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Malquis's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her right hand. She wears a colorful flower in her orange fur. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ethereal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
