History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: An older woman who wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a pickaxe on her belt, she is not a threatening figure. Her golden hair is still thick. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Aline isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Aline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Aline was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Gifted from a young age, Synthrin studied abroad. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Dreali alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Smoking was born with her father's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.
