He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. Description: An older man who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Gorfel is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gorfel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
