History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was born into a rich family. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. A freak accident while working with his Bather father left him crippled. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has worked as a Marshal like her father before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
