Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pelt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Pelt and her spouse have recently divorced.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Brewer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Brewer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
