History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stylist for the past few years.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Maegan was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Apothecary business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Murook grew up listening to her father's many stories. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She's in love; and she would like to get married and retire

History: Direcris was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Dustin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dustin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.
