History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Azaki's homeland. Azaki decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Koeth enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Leucis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Leucis was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cook. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Mozikth was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears a simple brown robe with black stripes complete with hood. She has a very tight haircut. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Juliana was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Bather father left her crippled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She struck the Roofer job and began her own company from there.
